Progress made with a replica of a Gothic Madonna and Child, from St James
church, Ocura, Zagorje, by the Conservation Department of the Academy of
Arts in Zagreb. Last year, a student carved the sculpture as his diploma
work and this year another student is doing the polychromy as his diploma
work. The Trust is funding this work with all the conservation material
needed. |
